Special Blend is a specially formulated consortium of bacteria designed to create a stable biological system in fresh and saltwater aquariums.

Special Blend supports the breakdown and composting of organic matter and converts elements such as nitrogen and sulfur.

Special Blend is 100% organic and contains only live bacterial cultures for a clean marine and freshwater aquarium

Dosing Instructions: 

Starting dosage for 100 liters of water: Day 1 25ml

Day 8, 15, 22, 29 15ml

Maintenance dosage per 100 liters of water 7.5 ml every 14 days

Tips:

• Ozone and UV light can kill bacteria, turn off for 12-24 hours during use.
• For best results, dose Special Blend directly into the aquarium during the light phase.
• Keep the bacterial solution in the original bottle, otherwise it will lose its effectiveness.
• When setting up new saltwater aquariums, only add Special Blend 24 hours after preparing the saltwater.
• Always ensure there is sufficient settlement area for the bacteria in the form of appropriate filter media, e.g. B. Ceramic Rings.
• Bacteria can lower the pH, check it regularly. Seawater inhibits bacterial growth, add 25-50% more for faster results. After using medication, you should wait 72 hours before the next dose.
